Based in Bangkok, Marc is accredited as an official press photographer by the Thailand Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
His work spans various fields of photography and his images are published by newspapers, books & magazines, and used for advertising, commercial print media, and corporate literature.
Marc operates his own photography studio. His focus is a mix of advertising, product, corporate portrait, food, hotel and architectural photography. He also works with a variety of international publishers, advertising and photo agencies, and receives assignments from both corporate and individual clients.
He shoots digitally using professional Digital SLR cameras. For large print production work he uses a high-end digital back coupled with a medium format camera system.
Marc has shot for such hotels as The Mandarin Oriental, The Shangri La, Crown Plaza, & Holiday Inn. Large corporate clients include Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, Ikea, L’Oreal, Bang & Olufsen, Canon Cameras, Bristol Meyers, Merck, McCann Erickson, and more. He is also a regular contributor to Wallpaper* Magazine.
Presently Marc is involved with two coffee-table book projects.“Spectacular Thailand”, to be published by Rizzoli International and “Thailand - A Taste Of Paradise” soon to be released by Page One Publishing from Singapore.
Marc is also collaborating on a Thai travel book with Things Asian Press entitled “To Thailand With Love”, to be released in the summer of 2008.
For the March 2007 issue, Marc provided 14 images to the Polish edition of National Geographic Traveler magazine for a 40-page feature cover story on Thailand.
In 2006 Marc completed work on 3 major book projects: A coffee-table book about Thailand for French publisher Vilo Editions, a book titled "The Sushi Book" for Things Asian Press, and a Bangkok Guidebook published jointly by Wallpaper* and Phaidon Press.
In 2005 Marc was commissioned by a noted Thai-based book company to shoot imagery for a small-sized picture book entitled “Dreams of Thailand, Chiang Mai”. The book is co-sponsored by Thai Airways and the Tourism Authority of Thailand. Copies of the book are available via book stores throughout Thailand.
In July 2004, in conjunction with the International AIDS Week conference in Thailand, Marc contributed some of his B&W photos to a photographic exhibition entitled "Life Force". The photos acted as part of a photographic retrospective sponsored by YouthAIDS. Hollywood actress Ashley Judd and pop-diva Coco Lee came and officially opened the exhibition in Bangkok on July 12th.
In September 2002 Marc was elected to be an Associate (ARPS) of the Royal Photographic Society of England, the world's oldest and highly prestigious professional photographic association, for his work in the field of Visual Arts.
In 2001, Marc captured images during construction of the new Bangkok underground train system, which have become a retrospective exhibition entitled "Bangkok Underground". The images take us on a unique journey through Bangkok's winding train tunnels as they were being carved out from the earth.
Marc has held workshops and given talks on photography and in 2005 he taught two semesters of photography at the School of Architecture and Industrial Design, a special campus of King Mongkut's University of Technology in Thonburi Bangkok.
